Appleby Children`s Centre is located on the site of the Primary School and is used to deliver Children`s Centre services alongside many partner agencies who also deliver some of their services from the Centre.

The Centre has a Children`s Room, a Group Work Room and a One to One Consultation Room.

Appleby Children`s Centre is the administrative hub for South Eden and is open to visitors, Wednesday 9.15am to 12.15pm and Thursday 1.00pm to 4.30pm. 

Kirkby Thore Children`s Centre is located on the site of the Primary School and is used by both the Children`s Centre and the local Pre-School.

The Centre has a Children`s Room and a Family Room.

Kirkby Stephen Children`s Centre is located upstairs in the Local Links building and is used by both the Children`s Centre and the Library.

The Centre has a Children`s Room and a Meeting Room.

We welcome visitors to all our Centre`s and they are often in use outside of advertised opening hours, however please ring before making a special journey.

The Children`s Centre`s provide a range of services for young children and their families across South Eden. We endeavor to deliver these from the Centre`s and other local community venues. The services we currently offer include courses for parents on many aspects of parenting, we also provide courses for parents that build confidence and offer `skills for life`. Eden wide we offer support for child minders, physical activities for children with additional needs, support group for families with children who have an additional need and groups/courses at weekends and evenings for Dad`s and Mum`s that prefer accessing services at these times.
